Getting Started
Quickstart
Get from zero to your first monitored client — connect infrastructure, add a client, add domains, and start monitoring.
What you will have at the end
By the end of this guide you will have connected at least one DNS provider, added a client, added one or more domains under that client, and started monitoring. Infraova will be watching the infrastructure and will surface the first issues it finds.
Step 1 — Create your organization
When you first sign in to Infraova, you are prompted to create an organization. Your organization is the top-level container for everything — clients, domains, connections, team members, and reports. Give it your agency name. You can update it later from Settings.
Step 2 — Connect a DNS provider
Go to Integrations → DNS and connect your first DNS provider. Infraova needs a connection to the DNS provider where your client domains are registered or managed in order to monitor and operate on them. Each provider requires an API key or OAuth authorization — the provider-specific documentation covers exactly what is needed.
Note
Connect the DNS provider where most of your client domains live first. You can add additional providers at any time.
Step 3 — Add a client
Go to Clients and create your first client. A client represents one of the businesses or accounts you manage infrastructure for. Give the client a name — this is how they appear throughout Infraova and in reports.
Step 4 — Add domains
Inside the client, add the domains you manage for them. Infraova will associate each domain with the client and begin pulling infrastructure data from your connected providers. If the domain is on a connected DNS provider, Infraova will map the zone automatically.
Step 5 — Start monitoring
Once domains are added, monitoring starts automatically. Infraova begins checking DNS records, authentication configuration, SSL certificates, and reputation signals. The first monitoring pass runs within minutes. Issues surface in the dashboard as they are detected.
Step 6 — Review your first issue
When Infraova detects a problem, it creates an issue with a severity level, a diagnosis, and a proposed remediation. Go to the Issues view to see what was found. Each issue shows what changed, why it matters, and what Infraova proposes to fix it. From there you can review the proposal and approve or reject it.
What comes next
Once your first client is monitored, you can add more clients, connect additional DNS providers, connect email infrastructure for deeper context, and invite team members. The operating model documentation explains the full system in detail.
