Getting Started
Adding your first domain
2 min read
Domains live under clients
In Infraova, domains are not added directly to your organization they belong to a client. This matches how agencies actually work: you manage infrastructure on behalf of named clients, and your reports and dashboards are organized the same way.
So the first step is creating a client, then adding a domain to that client.
Step 1 Create a client
From Clients, click New. You will be asked for the client name (required), an optional monthly retainer amount, an account owner (chosen from your organization's team members), a report email for where client-facing reports get sent, an optional client-specific Slack webhook URL, and any internal notes.
Only the client name is required everything else can be filled in later from the client's settings.
Step 2 Add a domain to that client
From the client page, click Add domain. Enter the domain name (e.g. mail.acme.com) this is the only required field.
You can optionally set a status tag (New, Warming, Active, High volume, Problematic, or Paused) to reflect where the domain is in its lifecycle, choose a check frequency (every 1, 6, 12, 24, or 48 hours 24 hours is the default), and specify a DKIM selector if your domain uses a non-standard one. Common email service providers like Resend, Google Workspace, SendGrid, Postmark, Mailgun, Klaviyo, HubSpot, and Microsoft 365 are available as quick presets.
If your plan's domain limit has been reached, you will see a warning here with an option to upgrade before you can add more.
