Archiving inactive domains

When to archive versus pause
Pausing (via the domain's edit settings) stops new scans but keeps the domain visible in your active list use this for a domain that is temporarily not in use but will come back soon. Archiving is for domains you are done monitoring entirely, such as an ended client engagement or a retired sending domain.
How to archive
From the domain's detail page, use the Archive action next to Edit. Archiving removes the domain from your active Domains list and from your domain count against your plan limit, but keeps its full score history, past issues, and DMARC reports intact.
Restoring later
An archived domain is not gone its detail page is still reachable and shows an archived banner with a Restore option. Restoring puts it back into active monitoring with its history preserved.
